Lucía received a Doctorate in Law at the Law School of the University of Montevideo in 2014. She completed her undergraduate studies in Corporate Law, Employment Law and Medicine and the Law at the University of East London, London, United Kingdom (2012-2013). ) and in 2017 he obtained his Masters in Commercial Law (LLM in Commercial Law) at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom, where he also conducted studies on personal data protection.
In 2012 he worked at the international Brazilian law firm Noronha Advogados in London, United Kingdom, where he collaborated in advising Brazilian companies seeking to expand their business to the United Kingdom. Also, this year he worked at the International Bar Association as a legal intern at the Legal Policy & Research Unit (LPRU), specializing in research on issues related to law and new technologies (blockchain, IoT, AI, cybersecurity, among others).
She currently works as a lawyer in the corporate department of Blanco & Etcheverry, as associate professor in the Commercial Contracts Department at the University of Montevideo (since 2015) and is currently studying postgraduate courses in Complex Technology Contracts at the ORT.
